My inbox receives a steady stream of FANTASTIC educator guides from various publishers. To share this information, I made a display containing books and their accompanying guides. 

These guides were printed off, stapled together and slide inside books to be checked out. This display was very popular but a handful of books lingered quite a while before being eventually being re-shelved without circulation.

In fact, the materials in my pictures are some of the ones that were re-shelved. I should have taken a pictures sooner!!

Most were creative non-fiction titles which are my FAVORITES!! Being able to put those on display always feels good.

This is a little display I put up on an empty shelf. Nothing ground-breaking, but thought I'd drop some pictures here.

Keeping with my personal tradition, the YALSA TTT logo was recolored and attached to the top of each book spine.

 

For the display, I printed off several speech bubbles in varying sizes. Each books got the sticker on the spine and a larger speech bubble as a book mark sticking out from the top.

 

Here are a few signs I made for our Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Book Displays as well as a few pictures of the displays from our YA and Children's section...

The little text cut-outs are facts about Asia.The publisher file of those was accidentally deleted so I don't have a copy of all included facts to share 😞

The next day the display was slightly reorganized...

The bulk are waiting in the story hour room to be used for a book talk. After that, they'll be added to the display.

The 3D flowers that were used in this display were recycled from my 2019 Black History Month Bulletin Board that was set up in the Children's Department. 

 This was filled with notable African American's throughout history. 

Books themes are characters who are imposters or pretending to be something they're not,  who-dun-it's, murder mystery types and mistaken identity. 

Here's my simplest method of making characters stand up for book displays.

 Cleaning up and reorganizing My Documents and my USB and stumbled across this YA display from last September when everyone wanted to storm Area 51.

Notice the prime spots go to one of my favorite YA series, The Xenith Trilogy Chani Lynn Feener. 

Two new alien books that have come out in 2020 are It Came From the Sky by Chelsea Sedoti and Sia Martinez and the Moonlight Beginning of Everything by Raquel Vasquez Gilliland.

For the display, I printed off little flyer/sign things and rubber-banded them to the cover of each book.

I'm not going to attach my PDF since it's so basic and the chances of you having all these books is slim.
