Young Adult Bulletin Board

For the last two years, our Young Adult bulletin board has had a stationary spotlight display.

Every month, 2 new books are featured in the spotlight. Pictures of their covers, a brief description of the book and their shelf location are posted in this area.

Originally, our YA bulletin board was used for announcements and passive programs but overtime, it's morphed into this.

I like to keep some type of passive program on the other part of the board but it's usually very simple.

One year I posted my top 5 favorite books of the year and encouraged others to share their favorites.

In the first picture, you sort through the printed doors and pick the door to your fandom. Use the push-pins to stick it to the board.

The envelope is so tiny because it was full of golf pencils for the passive program before that.

When there's not a passive program, I'll post a little comic or meme.

These were some that a laminated.

And that's my YA bulletin board!

This is an OLD picture from February one year. The prompt is "What do you love about the library". The envelopes are full of little hearts for patrons to write their responses on.

This wasn't an original idea.
